Conference BrochureIt is our privilege and pleasure to invite you to APSNA’s 28th Annual Scientific Conference.
The conference is being held Thursday, May 16 through Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, in Boston, Massachusetts.

At the 28th Annual Scientific Conference, the Program Committee will showcase the growth and future state of pediatric surgical nursing. The conference is intended for a dynamic, growing body of members representing various nursing roles including bedside nurses, operating room nurses, clinic nurses, advanced practice nurses, nurse managers, and nurse educators.

Attendees will benefit from a wide range of topics and faculty presenting on original evidence-based, research findings as well as on innovative ideas for successful approaches to clinical application of pediatric surgical nursing.


Continuing Education Credit

  • NAPNAP CE BadgeThis program is approved for 18.45 NAPNAP CE contact hours. Participants may earn up to 10.95 NAPNAP CE contact hours (for Annual Conference) and 3.5 NAPNAP CE contact hours (for Conference Symposium) per the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners Continuing Education Guidelines. Partial pharmacology credit hours and trauma credits hours will also be designated.
  • AAPA Category 1 CME BadgeThis activity has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 19.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.This activity was planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria for Live Programs and for Commercial Support of Live Programs.
  • For those registrants needing Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits, a CME processing fee will be charged in addition to the annual meeting registration fee. To enroll for CME credits, check the appropriate box on the annual meeting registration form and include the CME processing fee. CME registration must be completed before the annual meeting.

The Annual Meeting venue, Boston Marriott Copley Place is currently sold out. In addition the Boston Marriott Cambridge is currently sold out on one or more nights. Those interested in accommodations at either property are encouraged to check periodically for availability, as there may be cancellations. Please note that transportation from the Boston Marriott Cambridge is not provided to the Boston Marriott Copley.
