

The purpose of the APSNA education grant is to help APSNA members further their professional education or the professional education of others. Examples are conference attendance for one’s own education or to present an educational project, or academic programs and certification programs such as Certified Pediatric Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or WOCN.
Eligibility Criteria:

- The applicant must be an APSNA member in good standing for at least one year.
- The applicant must be a registered nurse or an advanced practice nurse with a minimum of two years experience in pediatric surgical nursing who is actively involved in pediatric surgery care, education or research.
Responsibilities of the Recipient:
- The recipient must be willing to submit report to APSNA Board and to the membership by way of SUTURELINE as to the use of the award and the knowledge gained.
- The recipient must be active in the development of pediatric surgical nursing practices and standards.
- The recipient must submit evidence by way of receipts that monies were spent as designated.

Please submit the attached application with a current CV, a letter of recommendation from a colleague, and documentation of the academic program, course or conference.
